Insercorp has completed the development and successful launch of: MahonesTavern.org. Mahone's Tavern and Museum is located on Main Street in Courtland, Virginia and is a historical landmark in the state of Virginia. In addition to being nationally recognized by being accepted in the National Register of Historic Places, Mahone's Tavern is also listed as a designated site on the Virginia Civil War Trails Program!
Constructed in 1796, Mahone's Tavern played a great role in the history of Virginia and the Civil War, which attracts thousands of history "buffs" and visitors from all around the country. It is one of the oldest houses in Southampton County and has had several reconstructions since it's opening.
A picture is a moment frozen in time forever, thus it was pertinent MahonesTavern.org was able to display the extensive photo collection that Mahone's Tavern & Museum has accrued over the years. The Insercorp Development Team built the new MahonesTavern.org with the idea that people will be able to visit the website and gain as much knowledge as possible about the historical landmark using images, quotes and history. Students, historians and teachers alike are encouraged to visit the new MahonesTavern.organd learn some of the great history of the state of Virginia!
