Insercorp's policy is that our clients maintain ownership as the registrant for their own domain names. We have provided the information on this page as a courtesey to our clients.
Where do I register a domain name?
While you can register your domain name with any Domain Name Registrant, Insercorp's preferred domain name provider is GoDaddy.com.
How long should my domain name be registered for?
It is recommended that you register your domain name for at least 5 years at a time. This will also help you with search engine optimization - the search engines will see that you have a stable business with longer periods of registration.
What happens if my domain name registration expires?
If your domain name has expired you should contact your registrar immediately. Insercorp has no control over the registration period of your domain name.
What Name Servers should my domain name be pointed to?
Your domain name should be pointed to ns1.bradshaw-kimbrel.com and ns2.bradshaw-kimbrel.com. These are the primary name servers for our Web Server.
What if I have more than one domain name but I want them all to point to the same website?
We can certainly take care of that for you. Let us know how we can help.
I just bought a new domain name. I want to use this instead of the one I have.
There will be a License Transfer fee to switch the license from the current domain name to the new domain name. There will also be a Hosting Account Transfer fee to transfer the files and database(s) to the new account. You will not lose time on your annual License and Hosting contracts. Transfer fees can be waived with contract extensions. See your Account Manager for more details.
