To get started, select Events from the Modules menu.
On the Events main page, the current month's calendar will be displayed. To add an event, click on the day the event is scheduled. There will be a prompt asking "would you like to create an event starting on month/dd/yyyy", click OK.

Next you will be taken to the Create New Event page. On this page you will need to enter the Title for the Event, the Category for the event, a Short Description for the event, and a Full Description for the event. For example, for the Short Description might say Canned Food Drive and for the Long Description say "Insercorp is hosting its Third Annual Canned Food Drive at XYZ Location on December 3, 2010. Come out and help us reach our goal of 10,000 canned food items!" You also need to enter a Start Time and an End Time for the event in the YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS form. For example: if the event is on October 1, 2010 and begins at 10 you will enter it as 2010-10-01 10:00:00.

If the event is a recurring event, select the box under Recurring Event. A box will be displayed where you can either enter an End date and Frequency (in days) for the event or you can Select a Frequency from the drop down menu. If you select the frequency from the drop down menu you do not need to enter an end date or frequency in days. Note: Once the event has been set to recurring, the events have to be edited or deleted individually. In the last section of the Create New Event page, enter the Location for the event. When you have finished entering the information for the event, click Create Event.

To edit an event, click on the event in the calendar. A pop up box will display with options to Edit or Delete the event. Click Edit and you will be taken to the Edit Event page. There you can make any necessary changes to the event. When you have finished, click Edit Event at the bottom of the page to save your changes. If you want to delete the event, click Delete.

How do I add or edit an event category?
To create an events category, click New Category in the main Events Manager page. Enter the Title for the event category on the Create New Event Category page then click Create Category at the bottom of the page.

To edit an events category, on the main Events Manager page click Edit next to the category you want to edit. This will take you to the Edit Event Category page. When you have finished making your changes click Edit Category at the bottom of the page. To delete an events category, click Delete next to the events category you want to delete.
