To get started, select Gallery from the Modules Menu. In the Categories section on the main Gallery page select Add New Category.
This will take you to the Add Gallery Category page. Enter the title for the new category and then click Add Category.
After adding the new category, you will be returned to the Gallery Categories page. On this page, a list of your existing gallery categories is diplayed. To add another category, click Add Category and repeat the last step. You can add as many gallery categories as needed. To delete a gallery category, click Delete next to the category you want do delete. To return to the main Gallery page, click Dashboard.
How do I add or edit gallery albums?
To add a new album to your gallery, select Add New Album under the Albums section of the Gallery page.
On the Add Gallery Album page, you will enter the Title for the new gallery album and select the Category for the Album. You can also add a Short Description that will be displayed on the main gallery page of your website and a Long Description that will be displayed when a visitor to your website views the full gallery album. When you have finished, click Add Album.
When the new album has been added you will be returned to the Gallery Albums page. On this page, a list of your current gallery albums will be displayed. To add another album, click Add Album and repeat the last step. You can add as many albums as you need. To delete an album, click Delete next to the album you want to delete. To return to the main Gallery page, click Dashboard.
How do I add or edit gallery images?
To add images to the gallery, select Add New Image under the Images section of the Gallery page.
On the Add Images page, you must select the Category and Album where the images will be displayed. You can upload up to 5 images at one time. If you choose, in the first blank space under Image 1, Image 2, etc. you can enter a caption for the image. When you have finished, click Upload at the bottom of the page to upload the images.
To edit your images, select Manage Images under the Images section of the Gallery page.
In the Images page, you can search for the image you want to edit using the Filters. You can filter by Category or by Album. When you have chosen your filters, click Go. The list of images found by the filter will be displayed. Select Edit under the image you want to edit. In the edit image page you can edit the description for the image. To save your changes, click Save. You can also delete an image by clicking Delete under the image you want to delete.
