Franklin Ace Hardware, originally named Farmers Produce Co., was founded in 1928 by Carlton Cutchin.  They specialize in home repair products such as paint, power tools, hardware, plumbing, and electrical products.

Fred's Restaurant first opened its doors in downtown Franklin in 1945 and quickly became the locals' favorite hangout spot.  Fred's offers a wide variety of home-style favorites for customers to enjoy and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday through Saturday and brunch Sunday.  Also on weekends Fred's features live entertainment.
