City of Hampton E Commerce Grant Program Update

If you own a business in the City of Hampton and are looking to improve your exisiting website or get a website for the first time, you can receive up to $10,000 from the Hampton E-Commerce Grant Program!  At its regularly scheduled meeting of January 18, 2011, the Hampton Industrial Development Authority has approved changes to the Hampton E-commerce Grant to permit awards of up to $10,000 to businesses in the City of Hampton.

These grants are available for both minority owned and non-minority owned businesses in the City of Hampton:

Non-minority owned businesses - grants shall not exceed 50 percent of the total project cost up to
a maximum of $10,000 once every three years.

Minority owned businesses - grants shall not exceed 60 percent of the total project cost up to a
maximum of $10,000 once every three years.
