Insercorp Launches New Website for Virginia Resources Authority

New Website Includes Responsive Design for Mobile Devices and Improved Functionality with Insercorp's Proprietary iPlasmaCMS2 Content Management System

Tuesday, May 03, 2016 - Richmond, Virginia - Insercorp LTD, a Franklin, Virginia-based website design and development firm is excited to announce delivery of a new, responsive website for the Virginia Resources Authority (VRA).

Created by the General Assembly in 1984, the Virginia Resources Authority (VRA) provides innovative, cost-effective and sustainable financial solutions to build vibrant and healthy Virginia communities. Since its inception, VRA has funded more than 1,000 critical projects across the Commonwealth exceeding $7 billion of investment in Virginia’s communities. Financing solutions draw on VRA’s creativity and unique ability to provide revolving fund loans to localities at below-market interest rates and to issue bonds backed by the moral obligation of the Commonwealth. The VRA staff offers extensive experience and expertise in a variety of financings and provides ongoing assistance to localities in connection with their public projects. Their number one goal is to enhance outreach by improving electronic communications.

Insercorp worked with the VRA staff to design and develop a new website with the purposes of usability, accessibility, and government transparency at the forefront of the new design, while providing the tools to allow the VRA staff to save time making updates to the website’s content.

VirginiaResources.gov is easily accessible with a cutting-edge, ‘responsive’ design, providing its users with easy-to-navigate, user-friendly, accessible interfaces to access information needed for stakeholders including borrowers, investors, and the general public.

VRA’s new website helps to enhance the quality of life for the Commonwealth’s communities and citizens through the projects VRA finances by making makes access to cost-effective financing for essential infrastructure projects easier for communities readily available and easy to find.
