Insercorp has began development of a new website for the Accomack County Department of Public Safety. The new ACDPS.net will include a gateway page when visitors first come to the website to take them to either Emergency Management website for public information or to the Public Safety website for employees, volunteer firefighters, and rescue personnel.
The Emergency Management website will include latest news, resources, links, and information on how to be prepared for various disasters or crisis.
The Public Safety website will include news, photo gallery, and a training calendar as well as additional information for County employees, firefighters, and rescue personnel.
The website will be powered by iPlasmaCMS, Insercorp's proprietary content management system, and include a Theme Management plugin allowing two different themes to run off of the same installation of iPlasmaCMS simultaneously, in effect delivering two websites in one.
The new website is expected to launch in June.
