The Hampton Roads Sports Commission (HRSC), an affiliate of the Hampton Roads Chamber, is a non-profit organization in partnership with the “seven cities” of the Hampton Roads Region: Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Suffolk, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach.
The Hampton Roads Sports Commission’s primary function is to attract major amateur athletic events to the area while emphasizing regional collaboration. One of their most notable events over the past 16 years has been to host the AAU Junior Olympic Games (once every five years).
Since redesigning the organization’s website in 2011 Insercorp has continued to provide web services to the Hampton Roads Sports Commission. In 2015 the Commission retained Insercorp’s services to re-design the website and upgrade it to be mobile responsive.
In October 2017 Insercorp worked with the Hampton Roads Sports Commission to announce its new brand by unveiling an updated logo and new color scheme with a new website theme. The new logo aligns under the Hampton Roads Chamber umbrella and reflects the new colors of the Chamber to promote a fresh, modern feel.
